The National Exotic Hedgehog Rescue are pleased to announce that they shall be holding a hoggie get together at the end of Nov in Bristol. You are all invited to help try and raise funds for these special animals.

Amazing day .. we managed to raise £690.00!!! so so pleased!!! We had a lovely variety of rescue hoggies attending and also peoples own hogs so it was really good for new owners or potential owners to see the difference and the importance of handling. Everyone loves Caz's tenrecs who were stars as was a wildie handed to Dinkers for some rehab who was possibly more calm than even some of the most well bahved APH on the day!! The raffles went down well and congrats to all the competition winners on the day. Rescue hoggies Rose, Hedgie, Snowball and No name have gone to their new carers in the hope that they will be rehomed very soon. many thanks to the venue also who were very very helpful with everything - including setting up and cleaning up!!

On a personal level I had a wonderful surprise from St Ives Soo who had painted a big portrait of several of my herd that I wasnt expecting to receive and it now has pride of place on my wall - Thank you Sue you are wonderful!!!

Well done to all involved and I saw the painting Sue had done it was gorgeous. The hog with no name is now called Pancake
