I'm interested in becoming a carer/ adopter for hogs and would like some more info.

Went to our local exotics society meeting for the first time and have fallen in love with these little fellas, as well as my missus and son.

would love to help out in anyway possible, so please let me know.

thanks

Hi steve,
Many thanks for your query and thats brilliant that you want to help!! we welcome help in all forms - if you would like to adopt a hog then please fill int he application form on our website : homelesshogs.co.uk and then your application will be submitted to the committe for approval and you should get a response in 7-14 days - sometimes you will be asked to supply more information if needed - please dont be offended - we only want the best for the hoggies in our care! You can also apply to be a foster carer - this can be a long term or short term basis depending on your situation and please dont be afraid to state either/or and you need to email exotichedgehog carers@hotmail.co.uk to request an application form. Basically foster carers take in hogs in need until an adoptive home is found for them via our applications. There are some basic rules and regs but in the interest of the animals and any vet costs etc are covered by the rescue - if theres any info you are specifically wanting that I have missed out then please either pm me on here or feel free to post on this thread and we will endeavour to reply to you as thoroughly as possible!!
